SLCP Verification in India

The Social & Labor Convergence Program (SLCP) is a multi-stakeholder initiative committed to improving working conditions in global supply chains. Its tool is the Converged Assessment Framework (CAF): a single assessment, developed by SLCP signatories, that collects a comprehensive set of social and labor data from a facility and checks it against international labor standards and national labor law.

The CAF has three parts:

1. Data collection. The facility completes a self-assessment covering a wide range of social and labor topics.
2. Verification. An SLCP-approved verifier checks the answers using the SLCP verification methodology. This is the step IQMC performs.
3. Sharing. The facility shares its verified data with many end users through the SLCP Gateway and connected platforms.

IQMC is an approved Verifier Body under SLCP and conducts verifications independently, as an Independent Verification Body, in accordance with the SLCP Converged Assessment Framework. Verifications are carried out by qualified, APSCA-registered auditors, and IQMC is a Full Member firm of APSCA, the Association of Professional Social Compliance Auditors.
